Angayukaksurak char : ウィキペディア英語版 | Angayukaksurak char
The angayukaksurak char (''Salvelinus anaktuvukensis'') is a type of salmonid fish found in Alaska in a few select Brooks Range headwaters. It was described as a distinct species on morphological grounds by Morrow in 1973, but the concept of a separate species status was soon refuted, even by Morrow himself.〔M.W. Kowalchuk, C.D. Sawatzky and J.D Reist (2010) (A Review of the Taxonomic Structure within Dolly Varden, ''Salvelinus malma'' (Walbaum 1792), of North America ) Canadian Science Advisory Secretariat, Research Document 2010/013〕 Further genetic studies have also failed to distinguish this fish from the more widespread Dolly Varden trout (''Salvelinus malma malma''), and it is now considered to represent natural variation within that (sub)species.〔〔S.B. Ayers (2010) (A REVIEW OF THE SPECIES STATUS OF THE ANGAYUKAKSURAK CHARR (''SALVELINUS ANAKTUVUKENSIS'') OF NORTHERN ALASKA: PERSPECTIVES FROM MOLECULAR AND MORPHOLOGICAL DATA ) MSc thesis, University of Alaska Fairbanks〕 ==Sources==
